Kenenisa Bekela, arguably the greatest distance runner of our time, along with 35 other top ethiopian athletes have been banned from local and International competition, which, if it lasts long enough, would include the London Olympics. Bekele and Tirunesh Dibaba, both double Olympic champs in the mens and women 5k and 10k, alone count for 4 Olympic Gold Medals. This can NOT be happening in an Olympic year, if the ban lasts I hope the IOC or IAAF finds a way to circumvent the ban so they can defend heir Olympic titles.
