my-africa-is-beautiful asked: Also, I want to clarify when I said, "Ethiopians idolize European features," I do not mean ALL Ethiopians. If you speak Amharic you've probably heard people say, "ferenji meselash," or you look white as a compliment, and "Qelash" or you've gotten lighter also seen as a compliment. I apologize for generalizing.

my-africa-is-beautiful asked: Although there are 81 ethnic groups only a few are represented. Not only in the political sector of Ethiopian society but also in entertain. All Ethiopians must recognize that someone from Gambella is just as beautiful, intelligent and competent as someone from Gonder. We need to eradicate the Western mentality and accept each other.
